A ball celebrating decadence benefitting Todd Blair who suffered severe head injury after the last SRL show in Amsterdam. He has a long road of medical bills, living and rehab expenses. Todd’s SRL, CCA, and other communities join forces presenting an evening of entertainment, bazaar, silent and live auction of many fine art, kinetic sculpture, peoples’ highly coveted skills, etc.

Zen Fire Garden
I came across a video of my fire garden “An invitation to fire ants” while digesting my turkey dinner.
I’ve been working on vessels for sand fire over the past 3 years. I came up with the idea when I was a kid playing with a fire pit at the Idaho ski lodge where I grew up.
Boiler Bar
The metal work is all done, and now we are awaiting the plumbing parts for the fire balls, and the chemicals to patina the steel. It’s been really fun to play with rivets and even though most of these are fake there are rules as to where they go to make it look real. I’m really looking forward to finishing this next week complete with logo’s, fire, and draft beer!

We started last week and the shape is coming together nicely. Think Steam punk with look and feel of the custom fire pit I did last month. Yes there will be fire!
