Kyrsten has drummed up a new project for us this summer called Electrobite Olenoides based on a Trilobite. Zolie Kyrsten and I started work on it yesterday. Zoile is really handy and started tighten the bolts with a wrench with very little instruction. Going to have to send her to finishing school soon so she can learn to sand and paint too. This is going to fun to ride next to the snail car!

I happened into the parking lot at my shop to see what I thought was a guy tagging. I was happy to discover an artist covering the junk on the streets with art. By the time I left the shop most of the art was gone. I did get one pc from a broken shelf to hang in my office. Thanks for the art!

We were given this for being Absolutely Outrageous!
Big thanks to Betty’s List for sponsoring our Snail Art Car the Golden Mean in the Pride Parade. It was a very appropriate theme this year for our family and our extended family.
This is one of my favorites. I love one off control systems like this with big friendly buttons you don’t see on things these days. Someone gave me a button at Maker Faire like this that said simply “FIRE” can’t wait to make the devise to fit the button! RIP Micheal! and RIP Farrah! I feel old today.
Sad to hear fight club at Nimby got canceled! I hear it might happen this coming weekend if they can work out issues with the city. We had a great time at Dorkbot and saw some amazing things done with electricity.
What a wonderful night of entertainment and science. Great to see so many babies, kids and teenagers running down the halls. Reminds me of events I went to as a kid and I hope some of what we’ve made and done rubbed off on them last night. I was asked by several parents to teach a class or have a summer camp of some sort. Young dorkbot. I’m interested and I’ll start thinking how that could work.
what’s next? Pride parade, Zolie Mae’s birthday (my daughter), 4th of July in NV, 200 tons of sand party, sleep and time with my family.
Send me links, and tell me what you liked about the night.
