BBQ conversion to Gas
I built a charcoal BBQ some years ago and I hate how long it takes to fire up. I looked at new gas grills and thought I could just make one myself for a lot less. Here is the basics of how to convert one yourself. This could be applied to any charcoal grill, with a round fire ring a Webber could be converted as well.

RiverTown Revival July 24th 2010
Rivertown Revival boat race is this weekend! Think hand car regatta in the water!
Should be a good one. I might just get the snail outfitted with some pontoons and show up!

What a great show! I love shows where art and craft meet and these artists are gifted in both. Wonderful use of real materials and humor. Look for Kathy Aoki showing the “Tomb Room” and several other artifacts from the Gwen Stefani Archeological Dig ( 2468-2478 A.D.).
Zolie trying to hide from the Grannies. I think someone didn’t understand what Steampunk was when they hired the band and forgot the steam. They were great until they got shut down for being too loud. Nice to see good old fashion punk is still alive and well!

Carney Wagon gets a roof rack
Once you have a truck like this you start to wish you had just a bit more space. I kept looking at all that space on top of the cab waisted to air and thought i’d be a great place for things like bikes, barrels, 10 more crew, a tent trailer less the wheels, a lawn chair and a beer, or another art car. So Hino and I set out to make a roof rack. 6.5′ x 7.5! It’s bigger than a full size truck bed. Ladders on the sides. Next mods to the truck will be a jib crane on the back and a platform on the top of the box. A kitchen box off the bottom and a awning would be nice as well.

The sixteenth century’s cabinets of curiosities, precursors to today’s museums, were encyclopedic collections of specimens from the natural world, as well as man-made artifacts. These cabinets served as educational resources for artists and natural philosophers of the early modern period in western Europe.
Featuring works by more than a dozen Bay Area artists and including photography, sculpture, and painting, the exhibition explores themes such as evolutionary biology and history, progress and decadence, and the carnal and the intellectual. These contemporary artists adopt a range of styles that pre-date twentieth-century modernism and mine the early modern period — that age of discovery for sources of wonder.

Massacre at Rabbit Head
The white mans Church of the Buzzard massacred the Empire of Dust natives at Rabbit head this July 4th. A Memorial will be erected in honor of our elders and things set straight one year from then. Please note the safety gear worn by our enemy while we wore only our native clothing. You can see in the video (3:30) ALL of our supplies going off at once as the Parishioner Buzzards storm our camp FULL of women and children!

The Boiler Bar crew & The Front Porch have decided to throw in with Sand by the Ton and hold our annual fundraiser there instead.
We teamed up with all our favorite art, cars, performers, and music to create the spot to be July 31st, stage number 9.
